GMDSS LONG RANGE CERTIFICATE (LRC)
The Long Range Certificate is the radio qualification for mariners venturing out of VHF range (valid for vessels up to 300 grt). The four day LRC course qualifies the holder for GMDSS using SSB Radio and Satellite communications.

GMDSS RESTRICTED OPERATOR'S CERTIFICATE (ROC)
The ROC is a GMDSS qualification designed for Merchant Navy Bridge Watchkeeping Officers on vessels trading within a GMDSS Sea Area A1. The ROC is a STCW GMDSS qualification (formerly STCW-95) acceptable by the MCA for Master 200gt (limited) / Officer Of The Watch (Yacht) 500gt (MGN 195), and also for revalidation of certain Foreign Going Deck Officers Certificates.

GMDSS GENERAL OPERATOR'S CERTIFICATE (GOC)
The GOC certificate is the highest GMDSS operators qualification suitable for the professional mariner including Merchant Navy Deck Officers, offshore Radio Operators serving on mobile platforms and Commercial Yachtmasters. This certificate can be STCW endorsed and permits the holder to operate the radio installation on GMDSS compliant/compulsorily equipped vessels operating in any of the GMDSS Sea areas.

CAA RESTRICTED OPERATOR'S CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCE (OCS)
If your maritime operation involves communication with rotary and fixed wing aircraft then you require the  Restricted Operator Certificates of Competence (ROCC). 

GMDSS REFRESHER ORAL PREP/GOC PRE- COURSE STUDY
We now run refresher and pre-course training for the GMDSS courses offered by RT Training. This is to help you prepare for the full GOC eight day course.
